You know an awesome wedding is just around the corner when you have a glass within 15 minutes of arriving in the morning 30 year old whiskey you have in front of you. Look, that's a good start to my day, right? The fact that Frank does not like half measures was not only evident from his choice of drink, but certainly also from his choice wedding suit. Pink! I repeat: pink! How cool is that?
And then Joyce. Also very clearly no half measures there. How beautiful she looked - understatement - in her beautiful dress. Those two together, that's a couple to die for. And not just because they are pleasant to the eye. They are also – another understatement – very nice people.
I traveled to the Stadbroekermolen. A super atmospheric and beautiful wedding location just outside Sittard.
There they got married, ate cake and enjoyed themselves. There was a lot of laughter and occasionally a little crying. But all for good reasons. There were just many beautiful and fun moments and stories to share. There was such a nice atmosphere all day long that at times I almost forgot that I was working. And I always think that is a very good sign.
