Ik ben Ruud, aangenaam. Als bourgondische Limburger in hart en nieren fotografeer ik al 15 jaar bruiloften in de regio Maastricht en ik ben op héél veel locaties geweest.

Naast het fotograferen van de mooiste bruiloften, stap ik het liefst samen met mijn liefste en mooiste Carine in het vliegtuig of onze zelfgebouwde camper, altijd op zoek naar nieuwe avonturen.

Daarbij ben ik motorrijder, rock-liefhebber, horlogefanaat, honden&kattenliefhebber, whiskeyproever en sigaar aficionado. Maar een relaxed avondje Netflixen op de bank, daar hou ik ook écht van.

Blown away by the images

I can't recommend Ruud highly enough: he was the absolute perfect choice for both the images and the wedding day itself. He was super flexible (which is a huge help when things inevitably don't always run to schedule!), great, funny company, yet also invisible when he needed to be, and so many of our guests went out of their way to comment on what a great guy he was. We (and everyone!) were blown away by the images; I'm a photographer myself and absolutely hate being on the other side of the camera, yet somehow he made me feel totally comfortable and actually made me like images of myself, which never happens! The end product is just so 'us' and we honestly couldn't be happier.

Better than expected!

A wizard with light

Een enorme aanrader

Ruud, together with his partner Carine, captured our most beautiful day in (moving) images and even sound. We are extremely happy with this! They were extremely professional, fast, flexible and also very nice people to have at your wedding. We didn't want lengthy photo shoots and this is exactly what we got: spontaneous photos that capture us exactly as we are. The editing of the photos is also beautiful and it is therefore difficult to choose which photos we want to print. Op een bruiloft ga ik onopvallend te werk. Als een ninja sluip ik rond, op jacht naar die spontane momenten en emoties. Ik grijp niet in en geef geen aanwijzingen, tenzij dat écht nodig is. Ik val gasten ook niet lastig met ‘ga even lekker leuk bij elkaar staan’. Jullie kunnen gewoon jezelf zijn terwijl ik onopgemerkt de mooiste beelden schiet. En ja, als jullie toch wat geposeerde foto’s willen, dan ben ik er ook voor jullie. Tijdens de fotosessie zal ik af en toe was eenvoudige aanwijzingen geven – maar alleen als jullie niet al te druk bezig zijn met elkaar. It's not every day that you, as a wedding photographer, get to photograph at two of the most beautiful wedding locations in your region, if not in the country. Both Château St. Gerlach and Château Neercanne are beautiful locations for photography. Femke and Jorrit have good taste, that's clear. This good taste was not only reflected in their choice of locations. When I entered their beautiful house in South Limburg to photograph the preparations, I immediately became jealous.

After the preparations we left for St. Gerlach for a beautiful legal ceremony in the castle garden. Then delicious cake outside the castle. The atmosphere was already good when the group left by bus for Chateau Neercanne.

Oh, and then there was the rain. A dinner was planned on Neercanne's balcony. But do you think Femke and Jorrit were chased away by a little rain? No. The umbrellas came out, 'It's Raining Men' was set up and there was singing and dancing under the umbrellas. The day ended in the caves of the castle. A wonderful end to a great day!
