Wedding photographer North Holland – L&M's beach wedding in Castricum Aan Zee
I always consider it an honor when a bridal couple entrusts me as a wedding photographer with the task of immortalizing their wedding. There are so many photographers and that makes it all the more special when you are 'the one'. But in the case of L&M it was extra special. Besides being a beautiful couple, they also photograph weddings themselves! In short: They know what they are talking about, understand photography and are therefore extra picky. Does that make me extra nervous? No. Rather extra fun! Especially if you get a message like this afterwards:
What a wonderfully relaxed man you are, a pleasure as a photographer. Easy to get along with, not constantly in your field of vision and still able to take pictures. A professional through and through. Can't get crazy, delicious! You were with us almost all day, nothing but praise for your working method. Love L&M
You can then put it in your pocket! But enough about that. Let's talk about the wedding. In a word, it was enjoyment. Together with their beautiful daughters, L&M made it a day that will go down in history. Nice detail: All 4 ladies wear the same custom-made Converse shoes with rainbow laces! I thought that was a very cool detail. After the preparations and make-up Beautiful Shades and a short photo shoot it was time - with a super cool VW Van In Style with a Bar – to go to the beach. L&M got married at De Deining in Castricum. A cozy beach pavilion that was generously provided with the most beautiful flowers and decorations by L, who was a florist in a 'previous life'.
While enjoying the beautiful sounds of Singer Kelly and under a lovely sun, L&M got married with their feet (almost) in the sand. The beautiful ceremony Yes I want Ria! was ended by a big blast of rainbow smoke, perfectly matching the shoes. Personally, I was also particularly happy with its arrival Ice cream cart which brought us some relief on this sunny day.
And the rest, so to speak, is history. There was laughter, enjoyment, delicious food and good partying. At the party the customers really went crazy DJ4All. The bottles of Flügel at the party took me back to when I was 14-15 and wasn't actually allowed to drink alcohol yet, but secretly did so every now and then. Don't tell anyone, okay?
I'd say: put on your beach slippers. Test your qualities as a cocktail maker and when your glass is full, enjoy the photo series below with me.
