Bridal reportage Overijssel – Enschede – Mayke&Pablo
What do you say about this as a film scenario?
“Blonde, Dutch lady is going on a tour through Argentina. And what seems better to her than exploring the beautiful landscape on a horse. Looking for someone (and a horse of course) who can help her with this, she ends up at a real ranch. Unfortunately, the last group of riders of the day had just left. Shame! But the blonde lady doesn't leave it at that and goes to the stables to see if there is anyone who can go for a ride with her.
And there he was.
Pablo. A real 'gaucho‘.
With her blonde charms, the young lady managed to persuade the tough gaucho to take her for a nice ride on horseback. The ride that was supposed to take 45 minutes took 2.5 hours. The spark flew. Hearts started beating faster. And even though after a few dates they had basically said to each other, “We're going to call it quits. This is not possible in terms of distance.” they couldn't forget each other. Because that's what love does to logic. And a good thing too! Pablo moved to the Netherlands, leaving his life as a gaucho behind, to marry the love of his life, Mayke.”
And then I imagine the film ending with Mayke and Pablo riding into the sunset on horseback. In any case, I would go see that movie in the cinema. You too?
The fairy tale of Mayke and Pablo did not come from a movie, it is lifelike! It was a pleasure to be there on this special day. Pablo's loved ones had come all the way from Argentina to Overijssel to be there. Special detail: Pablo's father was dressed in a traditional gaucho outfit. So if you see an incredibly cool looking guy with a hat passing by in the photo series, you know who it is.
