When you're at your wedding 'greumelevlaai' (crumb pie), then you will score generous points from me anyway. Not that Kyra and Georgie really needed that. They already had more than enough points after our first introduction. Two very nice, cheerful and enthusiastic ladies who are completely in love with each other, living in London baby! I couldn't wait for their big day. Now the Schinvelderhoeve In any case, a pleasant wedding location to photograph, but when Kyra and Georgie were welcomed in their wedding cars with enormous cheers and applause, I knew for sure: That will be a great day. The vibrant welcome was followed by a beautiful, personal wedding ceremony Jacqueline in the cozy tent in the garden. The yes and the first kiss were received as enthusiastically as their arrival. The bubbles were handed out and while enjoying pleasant live music it was gradually time for that delicious one pie of Limburg. I could really keep eating that, but I modestly limited myself to one piece. Okay, maybe two.
During dinner the wine and British humor flowed freely. Just like the pie, I have a soft spot for both. Anyway, a good foundation was laid for the evening party. And that really took the roof off! The dance floor was almost on fire from all those hot dance moves. It also almost caused my cameras and flashes to overheat. I drove home with fully loaded memory cards. Sorting through the photos was going to be quite a job. But here's a small selection of my favorites:
