Some days I would like to clone myself a few times, so that I can do several reports in one day and make several bridal couples happy with a beautiful report of their wedding. Unfortunately, the technology is not that far yet. Because I can only book each date once, I only definitively reserve a date when booking. That is why I cannot reserve dates with reservations. But who knows, in the future ;-)

Destination Weddings and elopements are always a bit more customized because transport, hotels, flights, etc. have to be looked at per country. During the wedding
At a wedding I work mostly inconspicuously. I'm always on the hunt for those spontaneous moments and intense emotions, without directing or interfering. You can look more as a guest than as a photographer. You can be yourselves while I quietly collect the most meaningful memories.

Don't worry. I estimate that 90% of my bridal couples don't feel super comfortable in front of the camera. But a posing session is not at all exciting. You can have fun together in a relaxed atmosphere, and I give simple and clear instructions here and there. After the photo shoot, I often hear 'That was actually quite fun!'
In 18 years of being a wedding photographer I have never had to cancel a wedding due to illness or injury! But if it does happen - after all, I'm only human - then there is no reason to panic. I am a member of a large online community where we help each other out in situations like this. So I will arrange a replacement photographer (if it is at very short notice) or I will give you a number of options to choose from (when there is more time). Either way: you'll get great photos!
I get this question quite often, werther I can photograph for a few hours in the afternoon and then for a few more hours later in the evening. Although that is a logical question, I always work consecutive hours. I am at your disposal all day long and I am fully focused on capturing your big day as beautifully as possible.
AFTER THE WEDDING
Waiting, waiting and waiting. First, I make about 5 backups of your photos, so that nothing is lost. Even if my house is going to burn down. Ok, I'll knock that off. From the thousands of photos I shoot, I use my very picky and experienced eye to select the most beautiful, nicest and most powerful images. I will edit it for you into an awesome photo series that will unforgettably reflect your day. In order not to leave you empty-handed during this exciting waiting period, you will receive a preview of the photos from me shortly after the wedding!
The photos that I have selected and edited for you are delivered in highest resolution and without watermark in a beautiful online photo gallery. In this gallery you can view, download and share the photos, but you can also order prints and all kinds of other photo products. You can use this photo gallery for 1 year (weddings) or 6 months (shoots). Extension is also possible for a reasonable price.
Selecting and editing a wedding is a job that requires an enormous amount of time, energy, concentration and attention. Because I can never say with certainty in advance how many bookings I will receive in a certain period, it is difficult to indicate exactly how long it will take. For me it is the most important thing that you get a beautiful and complete memory of your day. This is not a job I want to rush. As a guideline I use a delivery time of 2 months, but there may be some variation.

I can wholeheartily recommend everyone to purchase a beautiful wedding album. Because there is no nicer and more enjoyable way to enjoy your wedding day. The wedding albums that I deliver are of top quality, to ensure many years of beautiful moments. The albums that are included in my COMPLETE and PHOTO&VIDEOpackages can also be completely customized to your wishes. After receiving the photos, you can choose an album. You can choose the photos that are used in the album yourself, and I will then make a beautiful layout that you can view and change before the album is ordered.
After backing up the photos a few times, I will start the editing process.
It all starts with making a selection. From all the images I shoot, I choose the best and most beautiful images. In doing so, I take into account that no beautiful and important moments are skipped.
After making the selection, the photos are edited in my unique, timeless style with the most beautiful colors and a bright but soft contrast. You can enjoy these images for many years to come without them ever going out of style.
Raw photos are a semi-finished product. The photos are not finished. After all, a large part of style and quality still goes into post-processing. I always prefer quality over quantity. In selecting and post-processing hundreds of weddings, I have developed an unerring eye for the best photos. You can trust that no beautiful, important or precious moments are skipped.
On the other hand, I understand your curiosity very well. So that's why can the raw files are delivered at an additional cost (see rates page).
The safety of your photos – and by that I mean that no photos get lost – is extremely important to me. I read too many stories of photographers who do not make good backups of their material and lose wedding photos. A real disaster scenario, but one that can be prevented.
I have invested heavily in a backup system consisting of a collection of external hard drives, a NAS and an online backup system that continuously backs up the data on my drives. Immediately after a wedding I make sure that the photos are already written to my NAS and a hard drive twice and then they are automatically sent to the cloud.
WEDDING FILMS
Our wedding films and wedding photography are truly a symbiosis. Carine and I work together perfectly, we understand each other and the wedding films we make are a team effort. That is why we always work together.
Outside of high season, on weekdays and last-minute we do accept assignments where we both work as videographers. Feel free to contact us for the possibilities and rates.
Choosing music for your wedding film is a process that we invest a lot of time and energy in. The music largely determines the atmosphere and flow of the film. Popular music is subject to rights. Most pop songs may therefore not simply be used for wedding films.
We get the music for our films from the best sources for royalty-free music for which we have a license to use it in your wedding film. This way we prevent your wedding film from being taken offline after publication, the audio being removed in its entirety or a fine being issued.
Editing a wedding film is a very labor-intensive process that we dedicate ourselves to 100%. The most beautiful wedding film is one where camera images, drone images, audio recordings and music come together perfectly. We make the most beautiful wedding film for you from our creative and artistic point of view.
Afterwards, there's limited possibilities to customize a wedding film. Simply replacing a shot is possible. More extensive changes and adjusting the audio and music will result in the film having to be partially re-edited. This involves additional costs.
We do the vast majority of the work. But if I may give one important tip: Write beautiful vows. Take your time with this. A beautifully written vow can be a wonderful addition to your wedding film. It makes it more intense, more emotional, more valuable.

Drone footage is one of our favorite elements that we like to use often in our wedding films. A drone is a perfect tool to shoot spectacular shots of the wedding location and the surroundings. We use our drone for every wedding film, unless it is not possible due to bad weather or flight restrictions.
