Questions that I am often asked as a wedding photographer: I can very well imagine that you, as a future bridal couple, have a lot of questions.

WE WANT TO BOOK IMMEDIATELY!
HOW DO WE SET THE DATE?
Step 1: Wait a few minutes until I finish my happy dance. I always think it's great when customers are immediately enthusiastic and want to book!
Step 2: Complete the contact form below and give me some more information about your wedding. Don't forget to tell us something about yourself!
Step 3: Light a candle, say a Hail Mary, and cross your fingers that I will be available on your wedding day.
Step 4: I will get back to you as soon as possible with some more information and my availability.
Step 5: All systems are go? Sign the agreement, run to the bank for the first payment, and the booking is complete. By the way, it can all be done digitally these days.
CAN WE RESERVE A DATE UNDER CONDITION?
Some days I would like to clone myself a few times, so that I can do several reports in one day and make several bridal couples happy with a beautiful report of their wedding. Unfortunately, the technology is not that far yet. Because I can only book each date once, I only definitively reserve a date when booking. That is why I cannot reserve dates with reservations. But who knows, in the future ;-)
THE WEDDING IS OVER. AND NOW?
Waiting, waiting and waiting. First, I make about 5 backups of your photos, so that nothing is lost. Even if my house is going to burn down. Ok, I'll knock that off. From the thousands of photos I shoot, I use my very picky and experienced eye to select the most beautiful, nicest and most powerful images. I will edit it for you into an awesome photo series that will unforgettably reflect your day. In order not to leave you empty-handed during this exciting waiting period, you will receive a preview of the photos from me shortly after the wedding!
HOW DO YOU DELIVER THE PHOTOS?
The photos that I have selected and edited for you are delivered in highest resolution and without watermark in a beautiful online photo gallery. In this gallery you can view, download and share the photos, but you can also order prints and all kinds of other photo products. You can use this photo gallery for 1 year (weddings) or 3 months (shoots). Extension is also possible for a reasonable price.
Kunnen we een korting krijgen?
Short answer: No.
Iets langer antwoord: Al mijn klanten betalen hetzelfde. Dat is wel zo eerlijk. Daarbij: mijn reportages zijn elke cent waard.
DO WE GET THE UNEDITED, RAW PHOTOS TOO?
Raw photos are a semi-finished product. The photos are unfinished. A great deal of style and quality still goes into post-processing. I always prefer quality over quantity. On the other hand, I also understand your curiosity very well. So that's why the raw files are delivered at an additional cost (see rates page).
WHAT IS THE DELIVERY TIME OF THE PHOTOS?
Selecting and editing a wedding is a job that requires an enormous amount of time, energy, concentration and attention. Because I can never say with certainty in advance how many bookings I will receive in a certain period, it is difficult to indicate exactly how long it will take. For me it is the most important thing that you get a beautiful and complete memory of your day. This is not a job I want to rush. As a guideline I use a delivery time of 2 months, but there may be some variation.
WHAT IF YOU ARE SICK?

Ik ben lid van een grote online community waarbij we elkaar in dit soort situaties uit de brand helpen. Ik regel dus een vervangende fotograaf (indien het op zeer korte termijn is) of ik geef jullie een aantal opties door waaruit jullie kunnen kiezen (wanneer er wat meer tijd is).
CAN WE ALSO SPLIT THE DAY UP?
I am regularly asked if, for example, I can photograph for a few hours in the afternoon and then for a few more hours later in the evening. Although that is a logical question, I always work consecutive hours. I am at your disposal all day long and I am fully focused on capturing your big day as beautifully as possible.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Ik kan iedereen van harte aanraden om een mooi trouwalbum aan te schaffen. Want er is geen leukere en fijnere manier om na te genieten van jullie trouwdag. De trouwalbums die ik lever zijn van topkwaliteit, om vele jaren te zorgen voor mooie momenten. Bovendien zijn ze helemaal aan jullie wensen aan te passen. Na het ontvangen van de foto’s, kunnen jullie een album uitkiezen. Jullie kunnen zelf de foto’s uitkiezen die in het album worden gebruikt, en ik maak daar dan een mooie layout van die jullie kunnen inzien ein wijzigen voordat het album besteld wordt.

Destination Weddings and elopements are always a bit more customized because transport, hotels, flights, etc. have to be looked at per country.
