My favorite wedding photos of 2016

Time flies, and before you know it, a new year has started. 2016 went by so quickly! And even though technically, a new year means nothing more than a different number on the calendar, it seems to be wired to think that a new year is in some way a new start. Personally, I see it a bit different. A new year is not necessarily a new start, but more like an evolution of the year that went by. That’s why I’ve enjoyed creating this photo series a lot, because it gives a good impression of how I’ve evolved as a photographer. So please allow me to take you on a little trip through the amazing year that 2016 was. Words really fall short to describe it. It was wonderful, it was beautiful, it was sweet, it was emotional, it was funny. But is was also a tough, difficult, emotional and intense year. 2016 was a year in which I was privileged to experience so many wonderful things, but it was also the year that all the hard work almost took its toll.

But looking back at all of the amazing weddings I was allowed to capture, I feel no regret. When your job is as awesome as mine, you’re very happy to work a bit too hard every now and then.
